Meet Gary! We first met Gary during our team’s trip to Türkiye in October. In a crowded shelter, tucked into the corner of an overcrowded cage, was this big, gentle boy—doing his very best toothiest smile the moment he saw us. That smile won our hearts instantly, and we knew we had to bring him to safety. Gary has proven to be every bit as wonderful as that first grin promised. He’s an older gentleman and a large one too—around 100 lbs of pure sweetness. Despite his size, Gary is incredibly calm and gentle. He’s much more of a couch potato than an adventure seeker, content to hang out, relax, and be near his people. Gary is always wagging his tail, greeting everyone with quiet joy and that same heart-melting smile. He LOVES people and lights up at even the smallest bit of attention. His peaceful, easygoing nature makes him the perfect companion for someone who wants a loyal, loving friend to share calm days and cozy nights. This special boy has come a long way, and he’s ready for a home where he can finally stretch out, feel safe, and enjoy the good life he’s always deserved.
