Meet Phil Phil has been with us for over a year now, and what a journey it’s been. He was pulled from a shelter alongside two other dogs who have since found their forever homes. For a long time, Phil was quiet, reserved… almost withdrawn. We later discovered the reason why — he was living in immense pain from an old injury that had tried to heal on its own. Phil underwent surgery in Türkiye, and today he is truly a different dog. His face lights up when he sees people, and his stunning eyes somehow shine even brighter now. He seeks out affection. He runs. He plays. He rolls around in the grass like he’s making up for lost time. He loves his walks and soaking up every bit of attention he can get. He may not be your long-distance hiking partner, but he would be more than happy with a comfy bed, a soft place to land, and a family to call his own.
